Home Evaluation

Selling Your Home

Selling your home can be daunting, but the right real estate professional will make the process virtually seamless. From preparing the property for the market to working on offers, an experienced realtor can make all the difference between an unfavourable outcome and a favourable one.

Step By Step

The Process

The Preparation phase

Once the listing agreement is signed, a professional at Pacific Real Estate will create a bespoke strategy to deliver the desired results. This includes arranging an assessment of the home’s value and creating a Comparable Market Analysis (CMA) of similar properties in the area. The home is then tastefully staged by interior designers; professional video and photographs highlight the home’s features.

The Active Listings Phase

With pricing set and the home ready for viewing, your realtor will list your property on MLS, which will notify other real estate professionals of it entering the market. They will also utilise their private network to reach out to potential buyers. The realtor will manage showings and carefully review offers with you; they will negotiate your terms with all parties to ensure you receive the best possible result.

The Final Phase

An accepted offer is legally binding for both parties. If there are subjects in the contract, there will be a date of subject removal when all conditions are fulfilled. Completion of the contract refers to the date that the transaction detailed in the agreement is carried out, when money changes hands. On possession day, the new owner officially takes over the property. The time period between these significant dates will be negotiated by the realtor as per your needs.
